Hypoglycemia symptoms at 5.5mmol?

I have been at about 5.5 mmol on my A1c which is really good, right?  But it seems like I have more hypoglycema symptoms than ever before.  I don't know if this is a good thing.  I wanted to know if this is a common thing or what.  Doesn't people without diabetes run in the 5s for their A1c ......

Does alcohole increases symptoms of diabetes mellitus?

I have diabetes mellitus. I have it for a year now and it is type 1. I have started taking insulin. Anyway, I will be going to some party next week and since I did not take any alcohol for more than a year now, I would like to know if alcohol increases symptoms of diabetes mellitus?

My father has a lot of problems with the diabetes. He is taking insulin every day for a long time. Now he has a new diagnose; latent autoimmune diabetes. At least that is what we have been told by a doctor. What is it? How autoimmune process can influence on diabetes?

Hypoglycemia and alcohol

Hey, I just was told by my doctor that I am diabetic.  I was wondering how much alcohol I can consume witout becoming hypoglycemic? I go out ont he weekends and drink 4 or 5 drinks while out so I want to know if I can still drink taht much and be ok.
