Hello everyone... I am having something weird going on with me...  I am a type 1 diabetic and I am feeling like I am going into lows but when I take my blood sugar, it reads over a 100.  Why am I feeling this way?  What should I do?  Should I go to the doctor and get checked out?  Let me know if there is something else going on.

What type of specific symptoms are you experiencing?  Are you having anxiety, visual disturbances, or shakiness?  Are you having any confusion or disorientation?  It could be some other problem that you may have that is not related to your diabetes.  You could be having possible panic attacks.  You should see your doctor about these symptoms and see what he/she has to say about it.

Yah, it sounds like a panic attack with anxiety to me. I think a doctor's visit is needed too. I have a history of panic attacks so I know taht it can have similar types of symptoms. It is frightening and you feel like things are doomed. I freak out when i get that way and I do take medicine for it but some times the anxiety still comes through. I especially feel it in public places. Do you find that anything triggers your anxiety more than other types of things? It can be horrible to be in the middle of a crowd and start having one. I usually have to run to a bathroom and hide in the stall and wait for it to pass.
