Can/Does time off help when your tired of running?

Answered by a doctor

I am really having trouble lately, doing/during my runs, I just don't feel 100% when I am out there. My times are still consistent with what they have been, I just don't feel mentally in the game. Running used to be so much fun now I view as a chore and something that I must do. I have been trying...

Ten Commandments of Racing

The running store coach placed his hand upon my shoulder and then spoke, "These will be the final and most important words of guidance. For these will be the Ten Commandments of Racing. Observe my remarks, my athletes." 1. You shall have no coaches besides me. Do not be tempted by what others may...

Sport specific overtraining - does it exist?

Help, I've completely destroyed my ability to run. I began a running program last fall after having been very active at cycling throughout the summer. I usually start my run training by trying to work up to 40 miles week at about an 8:00 pace. Last November, I felt so good that I just started...

Lung pain while running, how to deal with it?

Answered by a doctor
