Left Leg Pain...only after runs though???

I have been experiencing ankle/shin pain in my left ankle since I started back on the treadmill. Is this normal? My coach said that it could be from not running that much because of winter break, and then starting back on the treadmill (Note: when I did run over break, it was outside). Now it only...

How do i keep myself from over-training?

I just brought a Bios Fitness heart rate monitor to prevent over exerting myself. The target zone alarm is a really useful tool for not working the heart too hard. How else do you keep yourself in check? I want to start training for my first marathon. Thanks!

Answered by a doctor

I'm going to start training for my first marathon soon. I live in the "foothills of Appalachia" and finding more than 1 or so level miles to run on is not really applicable in this area. For me to map out a 10 mile or more run will incoprorate some good size hills for a 10 to 20 mile run. Will this...
