Red eyelid problem

My Eylid on the left eye is starting to be red all the time-no stye or swelling just red I do hair but I have done it 41 yrs no problem before. I have diabetes but it is controlled by insulin am type 1 Sometimes the right one does but the left one does it all day long at work or not.

Fixing ptosis with surgery necessary?

Hi, guys. My son has been diagnosed with ptosis. His ophthalmologist would recommend surgery, but I am not so sure. I think he is too young for this. I would like to know if fixing this condition is really necessary in this way. I would appreciate if someone could tell me something more.
