My father has been diagnosed with conjunctivitis. They told him that the cause of his condition is bacteria called Serratia marcescens. I am very worried about him, how it is possible that he got this bacterium. Please, does anyone know something about Serratia marcescens? Thank you

 I have a cyst in the white part of my eye and I have been to the doctor. My doctor told me not to rub my eye but sometimes I forget and it hurts. Does anyone have this problem?

My father has been complaining a lot lately on the vision problems and when he finally went to the doctor he was told that corneal erosion has started and that in some near future he should go for PTK operation. I have heard that this procedure might cause changes in vision. Is that true?
