My father has been complaining a lot lately on the vision problems and when he finally went to the doctor he was told that corneal erosion has started and that in some near future he should go for PTK operation. I have heard that this procedure might cause changes in vision. Is that true?

Well yes. I mean, positive changes are still changes, and that is what he should feel after the surgery. This procedure might easily be the only solution for your father’s problem and the only thing to restore his normal eyesight, Post op might require a little help, but I assume that you will be there to help as much as you can.
