My son is 7. He complains on itch on his eyes, he has runny nose and redness around eyes. Is it possible that he has some eye infection? I can’t control him all the time, so I don’t know if he irritated eyes with something or he is ill? What are the symptoms of conjunctivitis in child?

swollen eyelids after waking up

I always thought my mom and I were weird because when we cry our eyelids swell so much we look like we were punched, Now for the past 2 weeks I've been waking up almost not able to see due to swelling. The whole area btween my lid and my brow looks like a ballon, any sugesstions?
