Well,
Astigmatism is a condition which causes you to have a hard time to see details in things. It can affect you with nearsightedness or farsightedness. I am not sure if this condition needs any diagnose, if you have problems with details in vision you most likely have this condition. The fact is that mild astigmatism may not need to be corrected. But if the case is more severe you might have a benefit from laser surgery. However you have to talk to your doctor about this and see if you have another possible treatment before surgery. I hope that you will find this helpful in any way.

All the best,
Nelie
