When to start maintaining?

My problem is about my weight and exercising. I started with my training program two months ago. This program with my original diet was not satisfied. Instead of getting weight in muscles I started to lose it. When is a time to start maintaining? What am I supposed to do with my diet and exercising?

Pain in my left slight upper wrist.

When i lifting the weights for chest, shoulders and more when i lift for biceps i.,e when i am doing barbell bicep curl i am getting lot of pain in my left slight upper wrist.
