stunting growth by weight lifting

I am 17 years old and am training weight lifting. Both my parent s are quite tall (father is above 185 and mother above 165 cm), and I am 170. I noticed I am not growing for the past month. I would like to know if there is any connection between weight lifting and stunting growth.

is walking good enough?

I walk at least 4-5 km each day. I don’t do any sports. I am on good shape…well not excellent, but…. Everybody is telling me that walking is not good and that I have to train some sport. I think they are wrong. Please tell me is walking enough?

I'm a 14 year old boy and I've recently started lifting weights I'm comfortable with and can do well. I'm 5 foot four and 8 stone. I'm sure I'm using the right technique and not doing excercises that strain my back. Will this stunt my growth at all?
