I also have no large bowel!

I am wondering how having large bowel removal and ileostomy affect having short-gut and only approximately 7 feet of small bowel left? How do we treat almost constant dehydration and absorption problems as ER doctors are at a loss. Please help, the more information the better!

How can I relieve bloating?
