Does wearing mouth guard at night help your bruxism?

Hello, folks. My husband is diagnosed bruxism. I am afraid he might damage his teeth. I wonder if wearing mouth guard at night can help with his bruxism. What do you think? It would be even better if some people with personal experience answered my post. Thanks for all the help.

unexplained swelling in jaw
