I have had a metal like taste in my mouth for about two weeks. It comes and goes. Should I be concerned about this or is there something I can do to figure out why I have this taste. Should go to dentist or my physician?

Tongue Piercing Worries!!

So I got my tongue pierced on Monday(10/28/13) and it is now (10/31/13). It's still swollen,the top near the piercing is a circle and a little hard. Also on the bottom its sore and seems like the ball is to close to my tongue. Is this something I should be worried about?

Can somebody tell me what proper brushing looks alike? I believed whole my life I had the proper oral hygiene including proper brushing and I was very surprised last week when I was explained that proper brushing hasn't got anything to do with the manner I brush my teeth. I just got my tongue pierced 3 days ago and it is so swollen that it looks like there is a small ball on my tongue around the piercing but there is no pain whatsoever. I am concerned that it is infected. Is it? WHat are the SYMPTOMS of an infected tongue ring?
