Why do I have to belch every time after I finish eating or drinking something?

Why do I have to belch every time after I finish eating or drinking something? I rarely drink pop, I chew my food well, and I never drink while I'm eating, so I don't know why I'm having this problem. What do you think I should do? What do think is causing this?
