I have testicular pain off and on for 20+ years. It comes on suddenly in right only and feels as if it is drawn up inside but it is not. Lots of pressure as if I have been hit in the testicle area "racked"  Is this common, what may be the cause?

I have this strange rash on my scrotum, at first it began to itch a little, wasnt too intense. I then began applying jock itch cream thinking that was problem, the itch is now nowhere as intense but now the spots on my scrotum that were once red are now dry and flaky and peeling, is that normal?
