Iam a 61yr old male non smoker and have had amd for a little over a year. Is ther any treatment or drugs that show promise for this disease? Also is there a time frame for how long it might take for this disease to severally impare ones vision. Robert McCoy

pediatric vocal cord dysfunction

My 11 year old son was recently diagnosed with vocal cord dysfunction and GERD. He is concerned that he also has difficulty breathing several times throughout the day where his vocal cords and throat are not the problem. Hoarseness no sore throat. What is wrong?

I came down with a sore throat early last week, (Tuesday, 11-14) hoarseness. I took different over-the-counter medicines, such as throat drops, & Robitussin. My sore throat is gone, yet I still have slight hoarseness. What could this be?
