side effects of thyroxin

Im 47 years old I have been taking one thyroxin a day for 8 months. I get very vague and find it stressful to concentrate.Could this be caused by my medication.

Total thyroidectomy (Hurthle) and Loss of Vitamin D

I am 5 years post-total thyroidectomy for pre-cancerous hurthle cell nodules. Ever since my body is totally deplete of Vitamin D. My doctor has been monitoring the vitamin deficiency and prescribing high dose supplement, but knows no reason why this is occurring. Does anyone else have this problem??

Complicated Patient - Surgery Options?

Help!  Before I fork over $2500 does anyone know if the Norman Parathyroid Center operates on complicated cases?  I had my thyroid removed in 2005 and a tracheostomy in 2011.  Also down to 3/4ths of a kidney.  Currently I'm in very good health except for high PTH levels.
