Started about a month ago, just thought I had allergies, but it did not go away. I always feel tired no matter how much sleep I get. I wake up and feel the same throughout the day. I am able to function fine and go about my day without major disruptions, but I constantly feel like c**p. I do get some minor dizziness. Ive gone to my doctor and now an endocrinologist (because my TSH levels were high, indicating hypothyroidism)...she said that is likely not causing my symptoms because I had the same high TSH 2 years ago and I was fine. Currently don't know where to turn next. Can anyone help?!?

Well to be honest dizziness and fatigue are the symptoms of hypothyroidism. If you had hypothyroidism two years ago it doesn’t mean that it can’t affect you more now. However there are more symptom that characterize this condition.

Are you experiencing any constipation or decreased sweating. In hypothyroidism skin can get itchy and dry. If you are noticing any problems with your heart rate, this can also indicate the thyroid problem.

Are you using any medication right now? I don’t think that this is an allergic reaction and in my opinion you will need to pay more attention on your thyroid. Have you changed your diet in any way? This can also affect the THS levels.

Hope that you will get better,

Marco
