Therapy for 'aggressive' form of MS?

My old college teacher, who happens to be my neighbor as well, was just told that she has the agressive form of Multiple Sclerosis... I am so very sorry, and she is such a sweet old thing too! Is there any therapy for this form of MS? How long before she will be severely handicapped?

How to treat nystagmus in MS?
