Hello, I am suffering from viral cold. At least my friend told me so. It started with some small annoying pain in muscles that gradually became overall weakness. The next day high temperature came, my condition worsened, I did not go to the work and started taking acetaminophen. But, it seems that I am getting dry mouth from Acetaminophen. Why is that happening?

Your symptoms are not that mild, perhaps you could have checked with the doctor before taking any medications on your own. Anyway, acetaminophen is a medicament that belongs to a group of anti-inflammatory drugs. It has a strong analgesic effect that can deal with pain in muscles, but it also can lower the bodys temperature. It is prescribed with standard colds. S for dry mouth, which could be related with viral infection, but it could also be a side effect of the drug you are taking.
