My sister(60+yrs old) has severe chronic asthma and has been on high doses of Prednisone off and on-over a year. She has been on all the standard maintence meds as well. Her Dr is suggesting Xolair Rx, is it worth the risks, especially the anaphylaxis warning and risks??
