i am the mother,of a 14 yr old son,who took singulair since age 10.What happened to him was nothing short of criminal,I have contacted both the fda and Merck, giving both acsess to my doc.The side effects were sneaky and built up with time, for a year i told myself,it was puberty,it was laziness etc etc. Then after he was found on the side of the road in complete panic,by a stranger,i knew whatever was going on was bigger than i could deal with,So i sought professional help, lots of it,he saw all kinds of psych docs was hospitalised in a psych hospital took all kinds of psych meds, nothing worked,i now had a 13 year old that wanted to dissappear of the face of the earth, everything was to much for him,he was reclusive, afraid to step outside afraid to go to school, just plain afraid of everything. Then came the news,Cody Millers story and yes i stopped the Singulair and yes he got better everyday better.4 months off singulair now,he has reregistered for high school has reconnected with friends,is back outside skateboarding, and generally enjoying life for the first time in 4 years,Thank you Mrs Miller, shame on you Merck, and all doctors who were involved
