If I'm spotting suddenly after not having a period for over 3 years, is it possibly a sign of pregnancy? I'm also moody, cramping, my breasts are huge and I'm always tired. Could this just be PMS reappearing?

Hi, im 21 and I recently started the birth control patch two weeks ago. I am currently having really intense abdominal pain. Its just on one side (left) and I just ending my period a week ago. I've read about the side effects of the patch and this wasnt one of them. What could this be?
