I have undiagnosed chronic shoulder pain and when I consume vodka, the pain is gone

I have undiagnosed chronic shoulder pain. When I consume vodka, not other alcohols, the pain is gone for approximately two days. It only takes two shots and it works approximately 48 hours. I have taken meloxicam and prednisone and neither were as effective. Suggestions?
