Can I have diabetes and still have a commercial driver's license or will there be restrictions?

If I wanted to get a commercial driver's license, would there be any restrictions because I have diabetes? It's pretty well-controlled. I just want to know before I go to the trouble of learning how to drive an 18-wheeler if my diabetes will stand in the way.

High sugars and driving?

Oh my goodness, I am not sure what to do here... Don't understand Hba1c results?

Hello all, I am a type 2 and I just got back my Hba1c results and I don't understand it. It says my Hba1c is 6.0 which I'm pleased about however it also says standardized = 42.1.
