natural cure hormone imbalance

My friend has been diagnosed with hormone imbalance. I think that her sex hormones are the ones that are imbalanced. I know that she should solve this somehow. Hormones are not something you should be messing with. Is there any natural cure for this type of problem? Thanks for answering.
