Hi. I sweat a lot. And I mean really a lot. I was diagnosed with hyperhidrosis. I use antiperspirants and I was prescribed with Robinul-Forte, to prevent the stimulation of my sweat glands. I would like to know what could be the cause of my problem?

Hi. I have a problem with overactive sweat glands too. It affects my hands, armpits and feet. I was told that the cause of this, primary hyperhidrosis is still not found. It is most likely that hyperhidrosis runs in the family. However, there are certain medical conditions that can cause hyperhidrosis (so called second hyperhidrosis), such as acromegaly, cancer, stroke, heart and lung diseases, anxiety, tuberculosis, menopause, glucose control disorders and spinal cord injury.
