herbs for pink eye

I often get an eye condition called pink eye, which means my eyes get red and irritated, in addition to which I also get a burning sensation in both my eyes. This happens more when I am stressed and do not get enough sleep. Does anyone else here get pink eye? Do any people treat pink eye with herbs?
