How dangerous is macular hole surgery

My son should have his eye operated in couple of days, the procedure is called macular hole surgery. How dangerous is it? Will he be all right when it is over? What about his eyesight? I am just concerned for him, nothing indicated he has such a serious condition until the vision problems occurred.

Gloacoma and vitamins

I have recently been diagnosed with a cataract and also raised pressure behind both eyes. I have seen adverts on the internet for vitamins that claim to lower the pressure - thus helping prevent gloacoma. Does anyone have any information or personal experience of this? Lynn

AMPPE treated as disability

Hello, I am writing on behalf of my brother who has some serious vision problems. He has been diagnosed with AMPPE, doctors treated as a disability but it is a hard condition and I understood that it is a very rare one. Anyway, is there a cure for it, will his vision get better soon?

itchy chest wall

I am waxing my chest, not for a very long time, I did this twice before. The difference is now that my chest itch...huh...it is horrible itching and feel like I want to take a brush and scratch my chest off. Why is this, from waxing or could be more serious?

Problem with burning eyes

since i quit smoking 8 months ago by eyes itch and burn. i no longer wear any eye makeup and very little make of any kind. my eyes still burn and itch. why is this happening??? i can definitely track it to when i quit smoking.
