Cardo/sports after lifting

After i lift and my muscles are feeling tight and firm, sometimes me and my friends will play some squash or raquet ball. After swinging that thing around for awhile my arms become less tense and are no longer tight. Is this bad for lifting and building muscles or maybe a good thing?

Working out while tired
