how do I choose proper weights?

I am planning to go to the gym. I want to live healthier life. Also I want to build-up my body mass. I am too skinny. My wish is to become strong. But I don't know anything about weight lifting. For example, how do I choose proper weights? I am open for every suggestion.

endometrial ablasion 2 yrs later pain...

i had the endometrial ablasion surgery 2 yrs ago and the pain has come back to almost doubling over and holding my breath....now and then i have a brownish substance as if a period is trying to start again...is this something i should be really concerned about?
