liver damaged after routine gall bladder removal

my gall bladder was way up in my liver attached enough so that the surgen caused massive bleeding of my liver. next he needed to cauterize the liver in number of places. Hi! I had blood test. I have high ALT level. Doctor said that I have high liver functions. Sun, I will have some other exam. I want to know why ALT can be high. I forgot to say also I have high AST.

Gall Bladder cancer

My wife has had a sonogram, a cat scan and an mri in an attempt to evaluate "something" that shows up in her gall bladder. She had one blood test with high AST's (I think that's what it was) and a later blood test which showed normal. Now she may be refered to a surgeon for evaluation....
