My wife has had a sonogram, a cat scan and an mri in an attempt to evaluate "something" that shows up in her gall bladder. She had one blood test with high AST's (I think that's what it was) and a later blood test which showed normal. Now she may be refered to a surgeon for evaluation. Her primary care Dr. has been honest in saying he just can't make a diagnosis. She has no other symptoms, perhaps some digestive problems, gas, etc., but nothing unusual for mid - 50's. This has now been going on for several months and we'd like some resolution. Does anyone have any insights, questions we should be asking, etc?
