Small gallstone but major pain

Ive been suffering from realky bad pains onnmy right side for nearly 2 months now ans I had a scan to check for gallstones last week. They only forms one 'little' stone and the man said in the report he's going to write to my dr he will be saying no action needed as it shouldn't be effecting me. Since the scan I've been sick 4 times, both normal and stuff that feels like yellow acid :| when I'm not being sick I'm feeling it. My chest has started to hurt and the pain in my ribs is agony. My dr won't Get the official results for another 2 weeks but I'm getting in trouble at work for taking odd days off when it becomes unbearable. I booked an appointment for wedneaday, Should I be pushing them to look further into gallsones or something else? Because I really don't think I can be feeling like this for months before they decide to do something about it. Any advice I'd be so greatfull
