Getting Heart Flutters for a few weeks now

Hi I am a 39 year old man, slightly overweight, for a little while now i have been getting flutters at the top of my stomach below the sternum, which is causing my to feel like i am having breathing difficulties. Can anyone tell me what, if anything this is or why its happening. thanks
