bruised spot on the left side of my skull

I have a very tender spot on the lower left side base of my skull.  It if a localized area and about the sized of a 50 cent piece.  It feels like a bruise.  I was wondering if anyone else has this problem.  There is no injury.

Brain swells because of skull fracture
