2 month old .. shaking of head

Hi. My baby has such a beautiful skin, only her bottom is red and irritated when I change her diapers. What did I do wrong? Is that some sort of a rash? What to do? Is it serious? A friend of mine told me that it`s “just” a diaper rash, still I fear for my baby.
