I got my tongue pierced about two weeks ago and today i noticed that there is a hard rring around the bottom of my tongue by the hole.. Is this a normal thing or is this something that i should be worried about... There is nothing comming out of it either?

i have just found a hard lump above my tooth on upper gum. i have had a root canal filling around 7 month ago but it seems t be were the lump is. it aint sore unless pressed. its arround 2cm in width. any ideas???
