Apparent swelling after subepithelial connective tissue graft?

Hello, I'm having a subepithelial connective tissue graft on my 4 lowers front teeth. The periodontist mentioned a technique called "the tunnel technique". I'm also interested in knowing whether apparent swelling occurs since I have a big event 2 days after the surgery.  Thanks a bunch!
