Hallo,
Swollen submandibular gland is a salivary gland in your mouth. The fact that it got swollen is telling me that you might have some sort of an infection in your mouth. On the other hand I know that swelling can occur from salivary gland stones as well. So if you have stones in your salivary gland you will need to remove them before the swelling is gone. This can be done in several ways but if I am not mistaking doctors will usually suggest a surgical procedure to get your stones out. This is not a complicated procedure and it can be done several ways so you don’t have to be afraid of the procedure.
Regards,
Karen
