I had a tonsillectomy around 3 or 4 years ago because my tonsils were swollwan for months and months and the doctors told me that i can not get any throat infections again. and i have not but i think i might have mono. is that possible? please help me!

My right tonsil has been sore and swollen and it hurts to swallow and sometimes talk. The gland under my jaw, below my right tonsil is swollen as well. I've been taking vitamins and gargled salt and water. My tonsil is red and a little discolored.

Still snoring after a tonsillectomy

HI, Was wondering if someone can tell me if its normal to be snoring after a tonsillectomy and a uvulopalatoplasty. My husband had these a few days ago to reduce his incredibly loud snoring, but it seems to be worse than ever, is this normal!!?? :-(
