Ok, so I'm an 18 year old girl. I've been with my boyfriend for 3 years, and for the first 2 and a half we had a great dynamic with our sex drives. But lately, I've had little to NO sex drive at all in the past 6 months or so.
I thought it was the birth control I was using, so I switched it, twice. But it didn't seem to do anything. Going off birth control is not an option for me because I have a very painful menstrual cycle.
I am unemployed at the moment, and looking for work, but I am not stressed out or anything. I live a very comfortable lifestyle, and I can't think of any reason why my sex drive just depleted like that.
I am also an insulin independent diabetic, and I'm not sure if my blood sugar levels or anything have anything to do with the loss of my drive.
Any help is appreciated, as this sex drive thing is really taking its toll on my relationship, as my boyfriend has a healthy sex drive and I just can't get interested in sex.

Simply put: The birth control pill GREATLY affects hormones to stop your body from releasing an egg.
Hormones affect your behavior, sex drive, and much more. It is most likely to blame.

I had a feeling that was the case. *sigh*
I do not want to go off birth control, but I also do not want to keep not having sex.
