So I had unprotected sex and took plan b about 80ish hours afterwards because it was over Labor Day weekend and I couldn't find an open pharmacy. I had my normal period a little over a week before the unprotected sex. After taking the pill, I had light bleeding over the course of 2-3 days that was light and bright in color. It's now been about 2 weeks since taking the pill and I haven't gotten my period yet. My normal period should be coming any day. Was the bleeding after taking the pill a sign that it worked? I am not on BC. This was incredibly dumb, I'm aware, but I'm still paranoid. I have an appointment to go to the gyno to get on BC asap so I'm not this dumb in the future.
