i have weaned down from 1600 to 400 now i am breaking open the capsule and only taking a small amount. i am edgy and shaky in the am i know i would have withdrawal cause i have been on it for yrs. i am think of getting some ativan from my regular dr. ( just to get through this first week. i am on neurotin as a psych med which it do anything to me.

Hi elf, I am curious to hear if you are actually going through all of this on your own or have you spoken to a doctor about weaning yourself off this medication? I know it's tempting to do yourself but if you aren't then you should talk to a doctor about how to do it as you had mentioned in your first post because it seems to me that it would be difficult to quit the drug on your own and it doesn't hurt to have extra help. Please keep us posted, okay?
