side effects of nitrofurantoin

Hi, guys. It seems that I caught some urine tract infection and now I suffer in pain. My doctor recommended me using nitrofurantoin. I have never heard about this drug before, so I know very little about it. What are the side effects of this drug? Can you tell me something more?
