I've had a whistly kind of noise in my ear/ears for a while. Sometimes it's in both ears and sometimes only one. I go out to clubs but no more than the average student. I went to the doctor and they got the hospital to organise a n appointment to look at my ears but there is a big waiting list...

When our son was just nine months old, he had the cerumen or earwax removed. Luckily, he has not had the need for it again. I cannot tell my disbelief at the time that such a simple procedure should require day surgery. I have never heard some child has problems with cerumen, so I was surprised....

Hello, my 10 years old son is complaining on pain in his ear and difficulty hearing. He speaks louder and keeps turning up TV. I remember when I was a kid, the same symptoms were troubling me, and it turned out that I had a fluid in my middle ear. Could it be the same problem with my son?

Constant ringing in my ears – can it impair my memory?

I have been experiencing constant ringing in my ears and I would like your advice on this matter. I also have sore throat and headaches from time to time. I have heard that this might be Meniere disease and that I could also have memory loss issues. Can this problem really impair my memory?
