Any way to fix exotropia without surgery?

Hello, guys. My kid has been diagnosed with exotropia. I know that surgery is an option, but I also hear it can bring some risks, so I would like to know if there is any way to fix this condition without it. Can anyone tell me this? If there is another possibility, I will really want to know it.

I would like to know what causes the near-sightedness and what causes long-sightedness? I never understood why some people near-sighted and others long-sighted are. My boyfriend is near sighted and his ophthalmologist told him that it can be reduce significantly with glasses. Is that true?

High Pressure in eyes and also cataract
