Recently when I went for an eye test the doctor said I have high pressure in left eye (22) and in right eye (20). Also I have cataract which is still not ripe abaout 40%.
Very often I have pain in left eye and unable to wear glasses for long.

So did your doctor told you anything else besides that you have high pressure? As far as I know normal eye pressure ranges from 10-21 mm Hg. Since yours is 22 that is not high above normal but it is something that your doctor should have looked more into. Did he mention anything about this and what should you do or he just mention this fact and did nothing about it.
I don’t want to scare you but maybe it would be wise to seek second opinion. Just in case that your doctor isn’t interested in your wellbeing enough and you want to be sure that everything is fine.
