Is it normal that im spending most of my time on a trainer?

I have decided to work out a whole year round. Since we have harsh winters and snow and subzero temperatures are not my favorite environment I bought an indoor trainer. It took me a while before I got used to it but now I am spending most of my training on it. What do you think about it?
